The University of Mumbai has started its admission process for undergraduate, postgraduate, M.Phil, PhD, and diploma courses for the 2026 academic cycle. Interested candidates can apply through the centralised online portal by registering, completing the application form, uploading mark-sheets, category certificates, and identity proof, and paying the required fee. Admission criteria vary by programme, with some requiring entrance exams and others based on merit, as detailed in the Information Bulletin. The university follows Maharashtra Government reservation rules, offering seats for SC, ST, OBC-NCL, EWS, PwD, women, defence wards, and other special categories. Foreign, NRI, and sponsored-quota applicants have a separate admission channel. After results, counselling, choice filling, and seat allotment rounds will be held.
