Ranchi University has started its 2026 admission process for undergraduate, postgraduate, M.Phil, PhD, and diploma courses offered across affiliated colleges in Jharkhand. Interested candidates must register and submit their applications through the university’s central online portal, uploading mark-sheets, category certificates, and identity proof, along with paying the application fee. Admission criteria vary by programme, with some requiring entrance exams and others following merit-based selection, as detailed in the Information Bulletin. After results are declared, counselling, choice filling, and seat allotment rounds will take place. The university follows Jharkhand Government reservation policies for SC, ST, OBC-NCL, EWS, PwD, women, defence wards, and other special categories. Foreign, NRI, and sponsored quota seats are available through separate channels where applicable.
