UCEED 2026 (Undergraduate Common Entrance Exam for Design) is conducted by the IDC School of Design, IIT Bombay, on behalf of itself, IIT Delhi, IIT Guwahati, IIT Hyderabad and IIITDM Jabalpur for admission to their B.Des programmes. The exam tests visualisation, observation, design thinking, and language proficiency. It is a single computer-based paper of 3 hours with sectional cutoffs. Counselling and seat allocation are centralised through the JoSAA-style portal — UCEED scores are valid for one admission cycle. Candidates can attempt UCEED a maximum of two times.
