CEED 2026 (Common Entrance Examination for Design) is the postgraduate design entrance conducted by IDC School of Design, IIT Bombay, on behalf of IITs (Bombay, Delhi, Kanpur, Guwahati, Hyderabad), IISc Bangalore and IIITDM Jabalpur for admission to Master of Design (M.Des) and direct PhD programmes. The exam runs alongside UCEED, with overlapping infrastructure. Specialisations include Industrial Design, Communication Design, Mobility Design, Animation, Interaction Design and Design for Mass Manufacture. CEED scores are valid for one admission cycle and accepted by 8+ Indian design institutions.
