Applications are now open for the KVPY-INSPIRE fellowship programme, which offers research fellowships and direct admission to BS and BS-MS courses at IISc Bangalore and all seven IISERs. Eligible students from Class XI, Class XII, and first-year B.Sc. can apply under the SA, SX, or SB streams. Selection involves an aptitude test and a personal interview at regional centres managed by IISc. Successful candidates receive monthly stipends ranging from ₹5,000 to ₹7,000, supporting their studies from school through PhD. The last date to apply will be announced soon, so interested candidates should prepare their documents and check eligibility requirements. This scheme is now part of the INSPIRE initiative by the Department of Science & Technology.
