The CAT 2025 exam is your gateway to MBA and PGPM programs at all Indian Institutes of Management and over 1,000 leading business schools across India. Organized annually by the IIMs, CAT assesses candidates in Verbal Ability & Reading Comprehension, Data Interpretation & Logical Reasoning, and Quantitative Ability. The application window is open, and successful candidates will proceed to institute-specific selection rounds, including Written Ability Test, Group Discussion, and Personal Interview. Each IIM sets its own cutoff scores and admission criteria. Some smaller IIMs and IIM Shillong participate in a joint counselling process (CAP) for admissions. Results are expected in early 2026, with the admission process continuing into mid-2026.
