The Residence / Nativity Certificate is a government-issued document issued as proof of long-term residence or nativity, used for educational quotas, scholarships and recruitment to state-cadre services. Citizens, employers, educational institutions, scholarship boards and government recruiters verify the authenticity of any Residence / Nativity Certificate issued in Sikkim by entering the application reference number, holder's name and date of issue. The verifier page returns issuance status, holder demographic data and the certificate's validity period.
